Welcome to BCCQ Breakfast Meeting

The British Chamber of Commerce Qatar was delighted to welcome members, partners and guests to our BCCQ Welcome Event, marking an important milestone in the Chamber’s journey as we officially transitioned from the Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF) to the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar (BCCQ).

While the Chamber enters an exciting new chapter, it does so proudly building on the 33-year legacy of QBBF, a business community that has played a significant role in strengthening UK–Qatar commercial relationships and supporting businesses across the region for more than three decades.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with long-standing members, welcome many new faces and share the Chamber’s vision for the future as we continue to grow our membership, expand our programme of events and strengthen our role within Qatar’s international business community.

We were honoured to welcome His Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar, HE Neerav Patel, who, as Honorary President of the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar, addressed guests and reaffirmed the importance of the close and enduring relationship between the United Kingdom and Qatar. His remarks highlighted the valuable role Chambers of Commerce play in supporting trade, investment, business collaboration and economic growth between our two nations.

The morning reflected everything the Chamber stands for—bringing people together, strengthening relationships and creating opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate and grow.

As BCCQ continues to evolve, we remain committed to preserving the heritage and trusted relationships established through QBBF while embracing new opportunities that will benefit our members and the wider UK–Qatar business community for many years to come.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate this important occasion and look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to many more BCCQ events throughout 2026 and beyond.
