A relaxed evening of networking, and meaningful business connections.

The British Chamber of Commerce Qatar was delighted to welcome almost 100 members and guests to B-Lounge, The Ritz-Carlton Doha for our annual BCCQ Summer Sundowners, one of the Chamber’s most popular networking events.

Bringing together businesses from across a diverse range of industries, the evening provided an opportunity for members, guests and prospective members to reconnect with familiar faces, establish new business relationships and continue strengthening the growing UK-Qatar business community.

Although designed as an informal summer networking evening, the event demonstrated the significant value that comes from bringing people together in the right environment. Throughout the evening, conversations took place across a wide range of sectors, with new introductions made, existing partnerships strengthened and future collaborations already beginning to take shape.

At the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar, we believe that successful business communities are built through meaningful relationships. Creating opportunities for our members to connect, collaborate and exchange knowledge remains central to our mission, and events such as Summer Sundowners continue to highlight the important role the Chamber plays in supporting businesses operating in Qatar.

We were particularly pleased to welcome colleagues from the Department for Business and Trade at the British Embassy Doha, whose ongoing collaboration with BCCQ continues to strengthen commercial ties between the United Kingdom and Qatar while providing valuable support and insight to our membership.

Our sincere thanks go to Phil and the team at B-Lounge, The Ritz-Carlton Doha for their exceptional hospitality and for providing the perfect setting for another memorable Chamber event. We would also like to thank Brian Candy for once again capturing the evening so brilliantly through his photography.

The popularity of this year’s Summer Sundowners reflects the continued growth of the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar and the increasing value businesses place on trusted networking opportunities. We were especially pleased to welcome many first-time guests who joined us to experience the Chamber for themselves and learn more about the opportunities available through BCCQ membership.

With an exciting programme of business lunches, networking events, member-exclusive briefings, corporate golf, leadership sessions and flagship events still to come throughout 2026, we look forward to continuing to bring together the UK’s and Qatar’s business communities.
